Would you give Pellegrini millions the way he has performed last 2/3 months?

Get loans and wheeler dealer deals in Jan and start again in the summer

Re: No Way to Run a Prem Club...
If MP can't get a tune out the players he has then you do have to question what the point of him spending much more is. I do appreciate there are some areas which need addressing but he needs to do a lot more with what he has.

Re: No Way to Run a Prem Club...
If we have an owner with the mentality of taking a punt on injury-prone has-beens who earn obscene wages and are unable to contribute anything worthwhile then of course there is no money left to invest wisely.

Why would there be when instead of investing in a brand new Honda our owner always goes for the Jaguar with over150,000 miles on the clock?

It's the classic barrow-bot mentality: anything you can strike a bargain deal on is always better than paying the going rate - even better than actually meeting requirements:

"Look at the fucking WAD I've saved!!! Rejoice! Just rejoice in the fact that I'm a fucking ace wheeler-dealer. I'm shit at running a football club, but, come on! How important is THAT when compared to the deal what I just done??!!"

the owners are due a debt repayment lump sum next year, of course there's no money for the team

Re: No Way to Run a Prem Club...
I think MPs track record shows he cant really be trusted with the funds. His whole approach on transfers has been poor from the start.

Owners are relying on the return of Fabianski to turn fortunes. They will take not spending any cash in Jan, finishing around mid table and then get rid of the management in the summer.

Not saying I agree with the policy but I am sure that is what they are planning.

Re: No Way to Run a Prem Club...
Agreed. With the budget of 8 mil MP went for roberto, wilshere, sanchez and ajeti instead of mbappe. That fucker

Re: No Way to Run a Prem Club...
What a wierd poster you are Sajmo. Yes because we are all expecting Mbappe or Messi.

Re: No Way to Run a Prem Club...
Any transfers coming in are dependent on how much we get for Rice, who is leaving in summer.

Re: No Way to Run a Prem Club...
Its called sarcasm.. My point is that you can't expect much from the 4 players you bought for the combined fee of 8 mil.

lets bring Hugill back.

I think you are missing the point. We could have avoided signing those 4 in the first place

I don't think I'd give Pellegrini/Husillos any more cash either, the wasteful pair of cunts. It'd be like lending your pet turkey to Bernard Mathews.

Re: No Way to Run a Prem Club...
It's only a bit of rumour and gossip, so I wouldn't read too much into it.

That said, we are not flush with cash after Pelle's wasteful summer spent on over-priced under-performers and squad filling fodder.

The Daves are due a major repayment of one of their loans shortly, so that will be their priority.

If we don't have any cash to spend in January, then we're not exactly going to be in a position to lure a decent manager to the club if Pelle is sacked.

Re: No Way to Run a Prem Club...
We usually make pretty poor signings in January, would rather we left it until the summer, plus unless a club want rid of a player or fee is stupidly very high, anyone decent is hard to get.

Mind you we seem to be on a repeat cycle, the old "get rid of the dross and re build in the summer"

We get rid of the dross and invariably sign a few players, have an average to shit first half of the season and the cycle starts again................

Re: No Way to Run a Prem Club...
Sajmo - The utter shit you come out with is astounding. You are actually defending the signings of roberto, wilshere, sanchez and ajeti, just because he didn't have much money?? My Mum was free and available, should Pell have signed her too, you fucking meathead?
